Most projects have several parts: a mobile app, software for the office and a backend that ties it all together. We do all of them. You have one contact for all of it.
Apps for iOS and Android
Usually with Flutter: one codebase for both systems. That saves time and money. If an app needs more, we build it native with Swift and Kotlin.
Desktop and business software
Programs for Windows and macOS that your team works with every day: planning, stock, reports. With C#, Java or Flutter. We connect them to the systems you already have.
Web applications
Portals, dashboards and internal tools that run in the browser. Your team does not have to install anything.
Backend and integrations
Database, logins, push notifications and the link to your other systems. Usually on Firebase and Google Cloud.
Support after launch
Apple and Google change something every year. We keep your app up to date, fix bugs and add new features.

We build apps with Flutter. One codebase runs on iOS and Android. We see every change on a test device within seconds.

Project
eTrucker: software for charging electric trucks
For eTrucker, we build the driver app, the eTrucker Manager and the backend. Drivers use the app to find charging stations for electric trucks. Haulage companies see where and at what price their trucks charge.
- Driver app
- For Android and iOS. A map of truck chargers along the route and the prices agreed by the driver’s company.
- eTrucker Manager
- Runs in the browser. Fleets manage their trucks, drivers, charging cards and charging contracts there.
- Backend
- Servers, database and integrations. The app and the Manager both run on it.
eTrucker is offered by ETM Elektrotrucker Media GmbH. Hekstec builds its driver app, the eTrucker Manager and the backend.

How a project with us runs
First call
You tell us what the software should do and who will use it. We ask questions and say openly what we think makes sense. This call is free.
Plan and quote
You get it in writing: what we build, in which order and what it costs. We split big projects into stages.
Development
We work in short stages. You test early versions on your own devices and tell us what is missing.
Launch and support
We put the app on the App Store and Google Play. After that we take care of updates and bugs.

From the app to the server
We build every part of a piece of software ourselves: the app on the phone, the program on the desktop, the application in the browser and the servers and databases behind them. That way, the parts fit together.

FAQ
Common questions
How much does an app cost?
It depends on the scope. An app with a login and a few screens costs much less than a system with a web portal and integrations. After the first call, we give you a cost range.
How long does it take?
That depends on the scope too. The quote includes a timeline. We split big projects into stages, so you have a first version in your hands early.
Do I need two apps for iOS and Android?
Usually not. With Flutter, one app runs on both systems. So you do not pay for the development twice.
Do you also build software for Windows or macOS?
Yes. We build desktop programs for Windows and macOS, for example with C# or Java. Sometimes a web application is the simpler answer. We talk about that in the first call.
Do I get the source code?
We set this out in the contract. Usually, once the project is fully paid, you get the source code and the right to use and change it.
Can you take over an existing app?
Yes. We look at the code first. Then we tell you if we can keep building on it or if a rebuild costs less.
